Trace Trousers - Light Blue Cotton with Decorative Topstitching

Wide-leg trousers in pale sky-blue cotton, cut with a straight relaxed leg and finished with a fully elasticated drawstring waistband that sits above the natural waist with a soft ruffled edge. The defining detail is the construction: vertical decorative topstitching runs down the front of each leg, creating a pressed-in line that traces the silhouette from waist to hem. Front patch pockets sit clean against the hip.

Part of the Limbo collection by Aniele Stroz, the Trace trousers take their name from those vertical lines. A trace is what is left behind - the mark of a movement after the movement itself has ended. The stitching reads as a memory of a crease, the line of a fold that no longer needs to be folded.
